I’ve been making the 3-ingredient peanut butter cookies since I found this recipe. But I put less than half cup of sugar and sometimes I mix it first with the egg and it gets rid of the graininess. Also, I bake them for 12 minutes for perfect consistency. This time I added a few bitter-sweet chocolate chips, but you can sprinkle them with sugar if you prefer them simple.

Here are the ingredients and steps to follow!


1 cup creamy peanut butter
5 tbsp sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup chocolate chips

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Combine all ingredients until mixed. Roll mixture into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten each ball with a fork.
  • Bake for 12 minutes. They will be golden brown and need to be let cool down before removing from cookie sheet.
